Normally if the signature matches you are able to just install on top of the old version and this retains your saves. Updating from one crack group to another gives you signature mismatch which makes it so you have to uninstall the game first which risks losing your save which I'm guessing is the error you got from sidequest when trying to downgrade to v15. N2m if you use the same groups files it's easier to update then if you get them randomly. At least that way if you have issues I can help out better. Vrp mirrors are usually over quota so they aren't very useful but FFA mirrors work fine and update first usually with new games and updates. To get FFA mirrors you need to get the all config at t.me/sidenoder, their telegram channel.

Have you given sidenoder a try? It's made for Mac and Linux and downloads and installs using mirrors from VRP and FFA. The reason I am able to help as much as I do is I know the files in use and also the programs. Well since I'm not sure where your games are coming from I'm not able to help much. One game I know refuses to install is Virtual Virtual Reality. The list seems to be pretty small but does exist. It also does have a piracy blacklist and will just not install some games. Sidequest WILL install some games yes but it doesn't handle install.txt games or games that have signature mismatch. Hmmm well I'm glad you took it how I meant it, some people assume the worst. Hope I'm making myself clear without being an asshole because that's not my intention but I have the issue of rubbing people the wrong way sometimes. It's possible you just do things your own way which is fine but I would feel wrong to not at least mention pinned as a mod and that you will likely find a better way if you just haven't read pinned yet and that's the issue. If you haven't read pinned I suggest you do because you don't seem to be using the method expected from people in this sub. This version working by "buying" the DLC in game.

You can tell because it will either be marked QU or the apk will end in s3.02 or something similar but always start with s03.xx Idk what sidequest would say in that situation but a piracy sideloader with say install failed signature mismatch or something along those lines and rookies and will say upgrade in place failed and ask you what you want to doĪlso it's a good chance the patched v15 you had is a qu version. If the games don't match you would have to uninstall first to change versions.
Also you may be running into signature mismatch. Why are you using sidequest? It's antipiracy.
