I can only assume there is a crack in the basement slab and the water is seeping out thru that. It is coming from underneath a stud wall in the basement. When I pulled up the carpet I found the source of the water. I pulled up the carpet and using high velocity fans and a dehumidifier to dry it all out. There hasn't been any power outages, so the sump pump should have been running the entire time. Recently there has been a lot of rain in my area and the carpet got wet.
